General Examination Information

Almost all of the courses that we deliver here at Tollbar MAT Sixth Form College are academic A Levels, for which assessment is linear. This means that examinations take place in the Summer exam season at the end of Year 13. The only exception to this is IT, in which examinations may also take place in January. All students receive information related to their examinations, including an individual examination timetable which is distributed to students several weeks before the beginning of the examination periods. This timetable should be saved for reference.

For students completing their A Level courses in 2020, the examination period is as follows:

In addition to the above, MFL speaking examinations will also be held. Individual candidates will be notified of when these will take place.
