Lincoln Visitor Brings University Insight
Tollbar MAT Sixth Form College students, Megan Winchester and Danielle Steel (both Year 13), with Chris Prince, Senior Student Engagement Officer at the University of Lincoln. Both Megan and Danielle are applying to the University of Lincoln to study Medicine.
Students at Tollbar MAT Sixth Form College gained valuable insight into university interviews with a visit from Chris Prince, the Senior Student Engagement Officer at the University of Lincoln.
The college has strong links with Lincoln University and Chris has visited students on a number of occasions.
He said: "I spoke about interview techniques for universities and how to approach your applications. It is good to be well equipped for interview, regardless of which universities the students choose to apply to. I talked about maintaining eye contact and body language, and asked them to think hard about what goes into their applications."
Student Megan Winchester, who hopes to study Medicine at Lincoln University, said: "The talk was really informative and I think it helps to boost our confidence when it comes to making our applications to universities."
